The company serves clients across industries and is known as the professional services partner of choice.Role DescriptionAs a Microsoft Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based systems, infrastructure, and services. You will also have experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure, migration from on-premises systems to the cloud. You will also manage and maintain Microsoft Office 365 environments for the organization. Qualifications•Manage and maintain Windows-based systems, including servers, workstations, Printers, Storage and other networked devices. Manage and maintain Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Office 365 environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related services.• Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and availability.• Manage and maintain Active Directory and related services.• Plan, design, and implement cloud migrations of on-premises systems to Azure.• Manage, Maintain, and monitor Infrastructure Compute, Network, Storage, Backups and Security.Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and system configuration.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field• 4+ years of experience managing and maintaining Windows-based systems• Experience with Azure and cloud migrations, including planning, designing, and implementing cloud migrations of on-premises systems to Azure• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related services• Strong understanding of Active Directory and related services• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications:• Industry certifications in Microsoft or Security (MCSE, MCSA, Azure, or Security)• Experience with Bash or PowerShell scripting• Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform• Experience with Data backup and Recovery tools and technologies (Veeam, Commvault, etc..)• Previous Managed Services experience and end user support.
