Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.
Is responsible to attend the processes of export operations and trade compliance. Booking and invoicing machines, interfacing with different groups of internal and external customers, product groups, dealers, shipowners, carriers, terminals, forwarders and freight forwarders. Controlling the transit of machinery from factory release to final destination, proposing process improvements and better ways of serving and delighting the customer.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
Will be responsible for Booking and following up with shipowners and carriers.
Will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the Shipping Plan, as well as controlling the sending of export documentation and controlling Cargo Delivery.
Will be responsible for invoicing machinery and accessories.
Interfacing with Dealers and Product Groups, meeting legal and customs requirements.
Developing and monitoring KPIs and Performance.
Participating in innovation projects and product and process improvements.
What You Have - Skills and Experiences:
Decision Making and Critical/Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Identifies the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand.
Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas.
Assists in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives.
Uses advanced knowledge in Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point), Intermediate knowledge in Power BI and Power automate to document, develop, and implement through these tools, strategies, and practices to operate with excellence.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
Transportation - PHA: Knowledge of and experience with the means of transporting materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers the manufacturing facility.
Works with at least one type of transportation mode and carrier.
Ensures on time shipments; anticipates and resolves shipping problems.
Describes common costs and associated billing and freight payment procedures.
Describes pros and cons of different types of domestic transportation alternatives.
Recounts process for issuing bids and analyzing responses from carriers.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies as well as knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies and practices for controlling the whole processes.
Forecast delivery times, assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
Experience in supply chain security programs (AEO, CTPAT).
 
Top Candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree.
Pre-Advanced English.
Desired Background/Experience:
Advanced English.
Advanced Power BI.
