Supply Chain Specialist

The role reports into Supply and delivery operations manager to manage and coordinate Supply and Logistics (warehousing, transportation) activities to the assigned geography in Latin America (primarily focus being Brazil) to optimize the delivery cost and achieve the targets set for OTIF for the assigned geography.
1. Be the first point of contact for enquiries from Customer Service team members regarding stock levels and delivery arrangements with logistics service providers.
2. Facilitate and manage the delivery process flow from Customer Service enquiry through to final delivery on-board customer vessel, liaising with Customer Service and delivery logistics service providers as required. He/she only backs up the Delivery Operations Manager if he/she's away from the office.
3. Provide operational and administrative support to facilitate the flow of marine lubricants from blenders through delivery logistics service providers to end customer on-board vessel deliveries.
4. Monitor stock levels with warehouse operators and logistics service providers and suggests replenishment to Supply and delivery operations manager.
5. Provide support to deliver regional inventory optimization plans, balancing requirements to ensure supply continuity with the need to optimize working capital and minimize obsolete and aged stock.
6. High accuracy on the stock reconciliation each month for the assigned consigned warehouse and perform year end stock taking activity.
7. Monitor and identify supply/distribution issues with logistics service providers.
8. Monitor and manage costs incurred with logistics service providers, optimizing transport solutions and selection of appropriate delivery methods.
9. Provide support and assist Supply and Delivery Operations Manager in managing logistics service provider performance - inclusive of all aspects including cargo receipt, storage and handling, warehousing, delivery performance.
10. Be safety aware ensuring all corporate related activities and operations comply with best practice ethical, legislative and HSSE standards always.
