Job DescriptionStakeholder Engagement and Influence in private and public sector.Develop and implement access strategy in high value accounts.Understand ANS and health States Secretaries.Understand payers, health authorities, KOL needs, identify issues and opportunities, develop targeted multifaceted solutions, find ways to operate differently by focusing on high added value tasks.Build relevant, solid value arguments to lead in payer and targeted high value account visits.Execute Market access strategy, aligned the Public Affairs and BU´s Strategies.Actively lead/engage payers and HMO´s to surpass access barriers, finding product listing/ funding approvals within targeted high value accounts in cardiology market.Create an engagement agenda and maintain a rigorous visitation schedule with payers (HMOS) and HSS ( Health State Secretaries) to ensure access of company portfolio.Deliver market access value propositions, programs, and market responses to better position and influence favorable access in main private accounts; achieve cost-effective, efficient delivery of products and services to payers and providers.Develop sustainable and responsible relationships with payers, and target accounts, mapping and keeping the panel of decision makers and processes up to date. Fully understand and stay abreast of the complex and ever-changing payer and channel landscape; assess challenges and impact on Biogen's portfolio.Be a true business partner.Ensure the cross functional cooperation regarding all questions about Health Economics, value propositions and reimbursement, in the field visits.QualificationsUnderstanding of the Brazilian health care environmentAt least 5 years experience in market access.7 years experience in pharma, biotechnology or closely related industry.Proficient leadership, influencing, strategic planning and organization, decision making and problem-solving skillsExperienced in developing payer policy and strategiesPrecise, organized and able to write in a comprehensive and clear wayDemonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the organization including negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to work in a team – cross functional mindsetStrong communication skills to be able to communicate to senior leadershipKnowledge of Health Economics / PricingSense of urgency and delivery orientationAnalytical with strong MS Excel skills, including experience in developing financial models and the ability to succinctly and clearly communicate implications of analysisKnowledge of MS/Rare Disease or country-specific market access experience a plusEducation:University degree in any fieldMBA or advanced degree preferredPharmacoeconomic and/or HTA SpecializationPreferred SkillsSelf-motivated, result oriented, problem solver with strong ownership and leadership skills. Proven successful project management skills. Strong communication and influencing skills.Strong understanding of the current Healthcare System and market access environment.Ability to build robust relationships with the HMO´s and payers (public and Private). Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.Availability to travel 50-60% of the time.Additional InformationWhy Biogen?We are a global team with a commitment to excellence, and a pioneering spirit.
