We are looking for a Senior Economist to drive innovation in Amazon's retail supply chain and help solve key business problems in operations.In this role, you will leverage state-of-the-art econometric methods to guide billion-dollar investment decisions in the Amazon Brazil. You will own, execute, and expand a research roadmap that connects science, business, and engineering and contributes to Amazon's long-term success. You'll build econometric models using our world class data systems and apply economic theory to solve business problems in a fast-moving environment. Economists at Amazon develop novel approaches to processing large data sets, solving quantitative problems, and contributing to the design of automated systems across the company.To be successful in this role, you'll need to communicate effectively, work closely with stakeholders across CFX and our partner teams, and translate data-driven findings into actionable insights.
