Join Bentham Science as a Section Editor for the Special Issues of "Current Genomics"Position Overview:We invite researchers and scientists to join us as Section Editor (Special Issue) for the "Current Genomics" journal section most relevant to their expertise. We are looking for a Section Editor with a proven track record in publishing and organizing special issues and can assemble a collection of high-quality research / review articles in the section.Key Responsibilities:• Develop a comprehensive proposal for a special issue in the section, underlining its importance and the information of prospective contributors.• Assemble a list of tentative article titles and invite senior scholarly authors with high h-index scores, preferably from advanced countries.• Ensure contributors are committed to the Open Access model and can cover the Article Processing Charges (APC).• Oversee manuscript submissions for adherence to scope and quality, managing peer review.• Utilize the provided honorarium to promote the special issue within the scientific community.Qualifications and Experience:• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline• Strong networks within the Genetics research community.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• Familiarity with scientific publication and peer review processes.Benefits:• A generous honorarium to support academic pursuits or thematic issue promotion.• Rapid publication, with articles going online within 30 days of acceptance.• A complimentary online subscription to the special issue.• One waived APC for an article authored by you..Location:This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility and convenience.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a detailed proposal by 8th April 2024.
