MissionSenior Relationship Manager – Areas of responsibilities
Relationship Management and Licensing at MP revolves around agriculture out-licensing knowledge and understanding, the application of royalties with partners and how to drive sustainable agreements growth.
We are seeking a professional like you to join Micropep team located in RTP, NC.
As the Senior Relationship Manager, you will oversee processing licensing applications. Among other responsibilities include gathering and verifying information, reviewing, and gathering application requirements, answering inquiries, preparing and processing documents, and conducting further assessments to determine that the license agreement is in compliance with the state or federal laws. There are also instances when they have the authority to approve or reject applications. Furthermore, as a manager, it is essential to lead and encourage staff to reach goals while implementing the agency's policies and regulations for the development, implementation, and execution of the Marketing Plans for Micropep products and active ingredients to the strategic partners and according to market needs. You will also lead the development of Micropep pipeline of products, including developing a clear business plan, identification & tracking of plan metrics, financial objectives, and implementation of strategies and tactics with partners sales, technical service, and senior management teams.
You will be the contact person for research, co-development and commercial agreements with partners and work hand in hand with our Product/Market Developer Manager for assigned actives building the right framework for research and commercialization. Other responsibilities will include identifying and leading research and co-development discussions with strategic partners to optimize overall profitability and share of Micropep solutions.
Senior Relationship Manager– Goals and Objectives
As a senior relationship manager you will use in your daily routine hard skills, such as business development, project management, license agreements, and contract management.
Increased distribution of press release news file worldwide through strategic business development opportunity gathering and value proposition marketing and selling.
Managed all aspects of project management, logistics and administrative operations.
Solicited licensees, negotiated domestic license agreements, developed, and implemented annual budget and revenue forecasts.
Negotiated and completed over twenty royalty bearing license agreements in widely varying technology areas.
Conducted educational training events for faculty on issues from intellectual property to early-stage financing.
Analyzed transactions and drafted sections of agreements directed to technology or intellectual property.
Eliminated rejections of license applications and renewals by researching and implementing a new license database.
Received and circulated for signature all proposed license applications.
Monitor adherence to and timely submissions of contractual obligations including sales reporting, royalty statements, projections and marketing spend.
Maintained thorough adherence and timely submissions of contractual obligations both globally and nationally.

Developed and maintained CDMO relationships to ensure lowered costs and assured supply of materials for new product development agreements.
Developed and implemented procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
Facilitated patent application development, vendor and consultant contract management and strategy.
Enforced contract compliance and royalty procedures by reviewing legal documents, financial/royalty reports, and products; monitored client activity.
Secured publishing rights, managed royalty reports and paid publishing royalties in connection with the distribution and exploitation of company content.
Created strategic partnerships with e-commerce companies and provided research to identify consumer dissatisfaction, problem definition and product solution.
Capitalized on industry changes and identified strategic partnerships to maximize company revenue.
Increased revenue by renegotiating royalty payments on existing accounts and restructuring permissions and licensing price protocols for new accounts.
Established new sales and licensing partners, tracked progress from initial outreach to product reaching shelves and royalty payments.
ProfilYou must be able to communicate effectively and have strong negotiation skills. You must be able to work well with others, think strategically and have strong problem-solving skills.
Analytical skills.It will be important for the role because advertising, promotions, and marketing analysis of the industry trends will help to determine the most promising strategies for Micropep. Your duties will spearhead product development, sales analysis, and forecasting, and manage all forms of marketing including website and print catalogs.
Communication skills.You must be able to communicate effectively with a broad-based team made up of other managers or staff members during the advertising, promotions, and marketing process, so a senior licensing manager will need often to align on product development, marketing, and branding.
Creativity.As a senior licensing manager, you should be able to generate new and imaginative ideas to create comprehensive product lines.
Interpersonal skills. As a senior licensing manager, you must deal with a range of people in different roles, both inside and outside the organization to provide the best customer service to every client.
Organizational skills.As a senior licensing manager, you must manage time and budget efficiently while directing and motivating other staff members.
