Experience Required: Overall IT Experience: 10+ years Networking Experience: 5+ years Job Purpose Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a robust background in Route/Switch and Firewall Administration. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a Global Network Team, responsible for delivering architecture, implementation, and support services to the enterprise's global network infrastructure. Key Infrastructure Components: Cisco Systems routers, switches, WLC, and wireless devices Cisco ACI Data Center Infrastructure Palo Alto Networks Firewalls Cato Networks SASE/SDWAN Aruba Wireless and ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC) F5 Load-Balancers LTM and GTM TACACS, Aruba ClearPass, Tufin FW automation, Solarwinds Orion, Extrahop, Infoblox IPAM Duties and Responsibilities Network Design & Implementation: Take a leadership role in Design, Discovery, and Implementation within the global network, focusing on both international/domestic infrastructure. Hardware Support: Manage and resolve issues with LAN/WAN hardware components, including switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls. Collaborative Architecture: Participate in multi-disciplinary architectural discussions to ensure network infrastructure needs are addressed. Problem-Solving: Execute root cause analysis for network issues using various analytical tools. Project Involvement: Stay current with emerging technologies in networking and systems automation by participating in relevant projects. Process Optimization: Develop and introduce new solutions aimed at enhancing network processes, productivity, and end-user technology experiences. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 10+ years in IT with a significant focus on LAN networking and Network Implementation. A minimum of 4 years in WAN, including VPNs, MPLS, and vendor interactions. Demonstrable expertise in managing network components like Cisco, Palo Alto, and Aruba. Certifications: CCNA required. Preferably CCNP, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or other firewall-related certifications. Required Skills: Deep understanding of IP networking, Network Security, and Network Management. Proficiency with protocol analyzers (e.g., WireShark) and Netflow analysis. Expertise in Firewall software (Checkpoint, Palo Alto) and associated management platforms. Strong knowledge of Software Defined Networking and Cloud computing concepts. Experience with Wireless Network support. Networking knowledge within Microsoft Windows environments. Familiarity with network management platforms like Solarwinds Orion, Cisco DNA. Proficiency in using MS-Visio for network mapping. Excellent communication skills for both technical teams and non-technical end-users. Advanced proficiency in Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional language skills are beneficial, but not mandatory.
