We are looking for a Senior to support us in maintaining our reputation as a leader in Advisory services both in Bermuda and globally.SeniorKPMG Advisory is looking for a Senior with experience in insurance Internal Audit and Risk Management/ Compliance advisory and assurance services, including, but not limited to, managing a diverse portfolio of engagements and working with multi disciplinary teams to deliver the following services to insurance industryclients: Internal audit services; Sarbanes Oxley and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting advisory and assurance services; Enterprise riskmanagement advisory and assurance services; Initial public offering readiness reviews; Governance, regulatory and compliance advisory and assurance services; and Business process design, implementation and operating reviews.The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and attributes: A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit and / or advisory providing related services to a range of clients, in the insurance (or wider financial services) industry; A Bachelor's degree or above; Knowledge of the insurance industry and related regulatory environment; A professional qualification in a relevant discipline would be beneficial (e.G. CPA, CA, CIA); Experience withSarbanes Oxley or financial reporting processes and controls within a larger private or public insurance/reinsurance company; knowledge of and experience with SOC reporting (ISAE3401/SSAE 16) is also beneficial but not essential; Strong organisational and administrative skills; Excellent interpersonal, teamworking and client relationship skills; Excellent written and oral/ presentation skills; Experience of working with senior management on complex cross border engagements with a multi-jurisdictional team; A high degree of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; A self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task on a daily basis and maintain high levels of drive and resilience; and A willingness and capacity to work overtime at short notice is essential as this is a highly demanding environment with very tight report deadlinesTo apply for the above position, please visit our careers page at kpmg.Bm.
