Senior Frontend Developer

Foundation is an innovative and rapidly growing early-stage startup that aims to revolutionize how wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers sell. We are driven by a passion for challenging the status quo, guiding our customers away from traditional selling methods towards a tech-first platform that empowers them to support their buyers better. Responsibilities Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to build new features and products. Architect, build, evolve, and maintain the Foundation frontend platform. Own design, development, test, deploy, maintain, and enhancement of frontend modules from start to end. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency) Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user interfaces for optimal user experience and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Lead frontend-related architectural decisions and advocate for frontend best practices across the team. Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and techniques to continuously improve the product and team knowledge base. Qualifications Proficiency in modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) and pre-processors (SASS, LESS) to ensure responsive and cross-browser compatible designs. Experience with frontend performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient asset management to enhance user experience. Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in building inclusive web applications that provide equal access to all users. 4+ years of experience with React/Vue/Javascript Experience building multiple single-page web applications Experience writing test cases with CircleCi Experience owning development, testing, and deployment of features. Working knowledge of GitHub
