As the Senior Copywriter writer of Evercam, you will create content to promote brand and marketing goals. You will work closely with the Digital Team and Content to execute projects that include web and social content, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and other written content while keeping up to date with trends while sharing fresh ideas and new skill sets with the team.Your Day to Day:Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/servicesProofreading and editing external facing content before publicationSubmitting work to marketing leaders for input and approvalCoordinating with marketing and design teams to illustrate articlesConducting simple keyword research and using SEO guidelines to increase web trafficIdentifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current contentDeveloping sales outreach content/messagingWhat you bring to Evercam:Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar roleWrite new educational content (definitions, explainers, video scripts and feature stories) for an IT and business professional audience.Portfolio of published articlesExperience doing research using multiple sourcesFamiliarity with web publicationsExcellent writing and editing skills in EnglishHands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)Ability to meet deadlines.Experience working in SAAS or related field.Experience with B2B sales and marketingCreativity and the ability to develop original contentProduce clear, easy-to-read copy.Perform SEO and competitor research.Use SEO guidance and best practices in content while emphasizing editorial integrity.RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.A minimum of 3 years of relevant writing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting.
