Primary Duties Ranked by importance: • Oversee the management of outstanding debts within the region: including invoicing customers, calculating, and processing distributor commissions, managing receivables, and reconciling accounts • Handle daily banking activities, covering both local and international transactions • Coordinate and supervise Business Partners Outsourced (BPOs) responsible for local accounting functions in various countries • Prepare monthly tax assessments in collaboration with BPOs and ensure timely submission to regional authorities • Manage stock control procedures, including conducting monthly stock-takes • Aid in the creation and upkeep of bills of materials and product cost estimations for the site • Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, encompassing journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting initiatives • Administer ERP system setups, including maintenance of Business Partner and material master data • Assist in the completion of the annual statutory and group audits Who to work with: • Coordination with Accounting Manager, LATIN AMERICA • Interaction with Global & Corporate Finance Teams • Engagement with External Auditors • Collaboration with Operations Department How We Work: • Growth Mindset • Accountability • Focus on Customer Needs • Embrace a Unified Approach Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Preference for CPA or chartered accountant certification • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity • Familiarity with SAP preferred • Proficiency in both English and Spanish Preferred Experience and Skills - While these qualifications are desirable, exceptions may be made based on individual performance and potential: • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Accountant or Cost Accountant. • Proficient in product costing calculations and maintenance. • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. • Strong attention to detail and effective time-management skills.
