.Position: Sales EngineerRegion: South AmericaTeeJet Technologies, a subsidiary of Spraying Systems Co, is currently seeking a result driven Sales Engineer to expand their business in Brazil. TeeJet Technologies is a worldwide market leader in the development and manufacturing of liquid application components, electronics, GPS Guidance used with agricultural application equipment.Job Description:Based in Cotia, SP, the Sales Engineer is a technical support resource for the sales and marketing team. This position is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities:·OEM Technical Support – Work with the Regional Sales Manager to identify and build long-term relationships with OEM engineering, marketing & purchasing representatives.ActivitiesTechnical support of existing product.Understand of customer requirements through system analysis & technical discussions.Determine the feasibility of existing TeeJet products or potential modifications.Develop of technical presentations that explain products or services to customer representatives.Support of new product assessment through installation support and field testing.Diagnose problems with installed equipment and work for solutions.Document account activities, generate reports and keep records of transactions with customers. ·Customer Training Support – Work with colleagues to implement best-in-class application training programs for dealer customers, agronomists, influencers, and end users. Follow up training with customer support to improve spray application technology. ·Strategic Marketing – using technical knowledge and industry to participate in the development and success of the TeeJet Strategic Marketing Plan. ·Customer Support – Expedite solutions for customer requests and complains to maximize satisfaction. ·Product Management – Activities include opportunity assessment, customer feedback, market research, identifying competitors, and pricing recommendations. The position will require approximately 50-70% travel within Brazil Job Requirements:·A strong mechanical and educational aptitude to maintain and improve the understanding of application and operation of TeeJet Technologies spray application products.·BSc in Engineering, Agriculture or related field is required.·Experience in agricultural spray application is an asset.·Ability to develop and execute technical application training programs
