Job Summary:
This position provides leadership and direction to our short-term rehabilitation unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and staff accountability. The role is akin to managing a Med/Surg unit, with patient stays up to 15 days. The RN Unit Supervisor is key to the day-to-day operations of the unit and must lead by example, upholding the values and mission of HFSL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee nursing care and operations of the rehabilitation unitImplement and maintain high standards of patient careSupervise and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and mentorshipEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomesParticipate in quality improvement initiativesManage patient care plans and monitor patient progressAddress and resolve any issues related to patient care or staff performanceJob Qualifications:
Current RN license in PA5+ years of experience in Med/Surg or Rehab LTC/STR or hospital unit3+ years in a nurse supervisory role with proven leadership skillsWound care experience highly desirableBenefits:
