What you'll do:
As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for of developing and maintaining a competitive, supportive and high performing portfolio of suppliers for our Product Lines. If you have great communication and negotiation skills, can adapt quickly and decisively to changes in your environment, and are always up to date with the latest technologies and trends, join us! In detail, you will:
Work with the relevant stakeholders to build and deploy a category strategy that aligns all the region's requirements;
Manage business strategically to promote complexity reduction, simplification, modularization, better cost performance and innovation, considering factors such as supplier selection and development;
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships;
Provide collaborative leadership to internal purchasing areas to ensure on-time project execution and implementation of category strategies;
Implement and oversee the use of improved sourcing methods, tooling optimization, capability understanding and supplier risk assessment tools;
Take action to maximize buying efficiency, minimize supply disruption, and financial risks for the product lines in your area;
Identify potential contract improvement opportunities and manage renegotiations;
Develop and maintain proper price indexing and forecasting, reporting tools, and secure alignment with the controllership teams and purchasing leadership teams.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Management or equivalent (Master's is a plus);
Solid experience with raw material purchasing and category management for white line appliances;
Experience with global purchasing roles;
Experience with cost reductions and/or value creation processes management;
Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and application;
Knowledge of supplier processes and cost drivers;
Knowledge of chemical and petrochemical industry, polymer science, plastic compounding and transformation industry is a plus;
Advanced Office skills;
Advanced English.
Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office. Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux's support teams. It will be necessary to have availability for international travel.
