About the team :The Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team's work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships; and philanthropy. The mission of the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team is to develop and advocate for solutions for pressing high technology issues and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business. Responsibilities:We are looking for a talented, driven, highly motivated, collaborative and detail-oriented coordinator to join the TikTok public policy team. You will work across the Latin America public policy teams to support the overall government relations, partnerships and CSR work. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent project management skills who is ready to learn and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and different functions across cultures and time zones. - Develop and maintain accurate project timelines, master project calendar, work-back schedules, meetings notes, tracking documents, and other documentation as needed; foresee and triage blockers and issues before they arise.- Provide administrative, logistical, and organizational support for the LATAM Public Policy team, including handling scheduling, presentations, team related procedures and objectives.- Support the GR and CSR teams in engaging with local policymakers and organizations around issues important to TikTok and our community of creators - Provide front-line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems, and escalating to internal colleagues as needed.- Build and maintain relationships with teams across the company.- Serve as a point of contact for select external stakeholders. Minimum qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Affairs, Public Affairs, related field, or equivalent practical experience - 2+ years of Public Policy or Government experience - Strong project management skills - Ability to work well as part of a team - Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Capable of quickly shifting and changing course based on new information or high-priority requests - A problem-solver experienced at remaining focused and calm when problems come your way. - Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese Preferred qualifications- Experience working at a tech company, trade association, law firm, think tank, or nonprofit, or in government service.- Proven track record managing projects
