We are looking for an Production Supervisor to join our team.
Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for administer and control the activities carried out in the different stages of production, organizing and guiding the services performed by the teams, in order to guarantee the productivity goals, in accordance with production plans, quality standards, procedures and technical, safety, environment environment and health.
1. Administer and control the activities performed in the production areas, during their shift, guiding the teams in the services to be performed, in the operations of machinery and equipment, proper use of raw materials and inputs in order to meet production goals and productivity.
2. Monitor and control the manufacturing processes, verifying, through specific instruments and panels, the progress of the production cycle, analyzing statistical data, identifying the need for adjustments and guiding the actions to be taken.
3. Participate in predictive and preventive maintenance planning, as well as follow up on execution according to production schedules.
4. Propose continuous improvements in working conditions, methods and performance of equipment used in production processes, to contribute to productivity and quality.
5. Control the receipt and handling of raw materials and supplies, according to the quality system procedures and production plans.
6. Prepare reports regarding the activities carried out in their work shift, transmitting information and statistical data on the production cycle, operational and administrative activities.
7. Manage Human Resources to maintain the balance of the organizational climate, with interrelationships with the Dept. RH Industrial, as well as updating individual matrices, of the career plan, in the technical and machinery factors, and carrying out periodic performance evaluations of subordinates.
8. Give instructions on the measures to be taken, in the event of an emergency or serious immediate risks, including when relevant, interruption of work activity and abandonment of the workplace or hazardous area
9. Require workers to individually comply with existing HSE procedures, as well as company regulations on the environment, occupational safety and health, and for them to use the collective means of protection and personal protective equipment at their disposal, adopt measures to control environmental and safety risk situations;
10. Ensure that the HSE tasks delegated to the factory are carried out correctly and in compliance with HSE legislation;
11. Propose corrective actions and necessary improvements, as well as disciplinary actions to HR in case of non-compliance by employees;
12. Multiply HSE training to team leaders and their trainees.

• Completed high school or technical course in electronics, or electrotechnics, or electronics, or metallurgy or similar.
