Procurement Administrator

We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our procurement team

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out all the activities necessary to purchase goods in compliance with the given cost/time/quality requirements and with company policies and standards and work instructionsIssue to the vendor the request for a quotation based on the given purchasing requestSupport the vendors during the preparation of the technical /commercial proposals with the obligation of confidentiality of the related bidManage procurement process flow from determining stock required until receipt of goods meetingPerform the required assigned activities in compliance with procedures and provided systems and toolsEnsure that SOP's are being adhered to at all timesFollow up and negotiateBuild and maintain productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliersAbility to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvementsPrepare reports and submit to the team leadersPerform ad-hoc procurement-related tasks REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement role (chilled FMCG experience is advantageous)Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, and expeditingKnowledge of the procurement process complemented with expeditingMust have completed MatricA tertiary qualification in Purchasing or Supply Chain is an added advantageProficiency in MS Office is requiredStrong MS Excel skillsData analysisMust have excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skillsKeen attention to detail and accuracyAbility to problem solve
