Join us.**Job Description** AECOM is seeking for an experienced PMO Project Management Manager Underground Metro Line - Bogotá/Colombia for employment in Bogota, Colombia.****The responsibilities include but are not limited to**:- Reporting to the director of the PMO, he is responsible for all those activities related to the management of the project (schedule management - programming and control-, finance, cost management, expenditure management), also coordinating the rest of the management team.- Coordinating with client and construction contractor in developing and maintaining the project controls management Plan.- Leading and directing the PMO Project Controls team.- Managing change control, cost control and budgeting.- Managing information systems and processes.- Creating and owning the standards and processes which facilitate timely and accurate schedule analysis and reporting.- Developing scheduling review maturity by providing training and coaching.- Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with the overall goals of an underground railway metro project.- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.- Implement risk management processes to minimize the impact of potential issues.- Implement change control processes to manage scope changes effectively.- Evaluate the impact of changes on the project timeline and budget.- Facilitate lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of project phases.- Implement improvements based on lessons learned to enhance future project management processes.- Utilize project management tools and technology to enhance efficiency and collaboration.- Stay abreast of industry best practices and incorporate relevant technological advancements.- Integrate sustainable practices into project management processes where applicable.- Consider environmental and social impacts in decision-making.**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:- BA/BS in civil engineering or economic and administrative sciences with specialization, master's, or doctoral studies in Project Management + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.- Current certification of PMP from PMI, or IPMA level C or B, or GAQM PPM or GAQM CPD or Prince2 Practitioner.- Specific experience of at least ten (10) years in management, direction, boss, programmer, project leader roles either in Construction or maintenance of Metro-type mass transit rail systems, having intervened in such capacity in at least two (2) Metro-type underground railway works projects, that together add up to at least ten (10) km of tunnels and at least eight (8) underground stations for Metros.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Master's, or doctoral studies in Project Management- 15 + years of experience**Additional Information****About AECOM**AECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle - from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
