The RoleOversee Power and Renewables Line of Business (LOB) Latam´s strategy and provide leadership, direction, advice and guidance to brokers and business developers in all countries both retail and facultative.Client propositionLead brokers to deliver a differentiated client experience and focus on broking excellence that includes:Promoting a clear understanding of the growth strategy and adherence to broking protocols, ensuring best practice is applied consistently across the Global LoB (GLoB).Continuously appraising global insurance and reinsurance market's appetite and capability, certifying the GLoB is leveraging global (re)insurance markets that offer the best outcome for clients.Ensure brokers across the GLoB are providing impartial client advice with client interest put above all other considerations.Develop solutions that are aligned to sector and geo strategy.Support countries on complex placement structures including retrocessions, teamwork with placement hubs in London, Miami and other geographies.LeadershipResponsible for managing, motivating, and developing the skills, competencies and knowledge of brokers in line with policies and procedures, including overseeing and managing of staff performance reviews and objective setting.Maintain staff competence by ensuring that staff skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development, so they can perform to their maximum capability and fulfil their potential and the requirements of the business.Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit staff with the correct level of skills and competencies, adhering to the company's recruitment procedures and best practices.Identify and maintain knowledge of broking talent and support career development plans, measuring outcomes and compensation in line with expected behaviours.Regulation and ControlsDiscipline around pipeline.Ownership of Natural Resources (NR) Latam P&L together with other NR sectors.Innovation and quality controlDriving innovation around new products and coveragesInclusion and DiversityPromote Inclusion & Diversity within the NR Latam community.The RequirementsEducated to degree level or relevant industry experience.Working knowledge of P&C and Liability insuranceFluent in English (oral and written)Preferably holding/working towards a professional qualification of ACll or equivalentComprehensive technical knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry and insurance in order to deal effectively with client needs.Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the client and insurers and reinsurers.Ability to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, representing the Business Unit and the wider Group with a high level of credibility.Excellent clients focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of direct client service.Ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions for clients.Good understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the Business Unit and WTW overall.Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery.Intermediate level of IT systems (as a minimum Microsoft Office)Intermediate knowledge of data analysisGood presentation skillsEqual Opportunity Employer
