Mathematical Optimization Analyst

As a Mathematical Optimization Analyst at Cassotis, you will be part of a team developing highly-valuable solutions using mathematical optimization and operational research. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and customizing new models: Mathematical modeling Developing graphical interfaces Data analysis and regression development Providing support to clients Assisting users in utilizing the models Resolving bugs and integrating with the development team Evolving existing models with new functionalities Supporting commercial activities by contributing to Proof of Concepts and demonstrations. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Knowledge of Operations Research (linear and non-linear programming, binary and integer programming, as well as heuristics and meta-heuristics) Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python) and algebraic languages (AMPL) Experience with various solvers (e.G., CONOPT, CPLEX, LocalSolver, Gurobi) Basic statistical knowledge: descriptive and predictive data analysis (Excel or Python) Fluency in English. Analytical, autonomous, proactive, and curious profile. Strong oral and written communication skills Previous experience in industrial processes will be considered a plus.
