MATERNITY COVER ENGLISH AND GERMAN REQUIRED Job Purpose:The Legal Consultant will play a critical role in supporting our legal automation team. This position involves comprehensive responsibilities including document review, drafting, translating, and ensuring compliance with the latest legal standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will contribute to both our English and German documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all legal materials.Key Responsibilities:Document Review: Analyse and review legal documents in both English and German to align with the client's latest templates for structured products.Legal Drafting and Updates: Assist in structuring, drafting, and updating legal reports and templates. Analyse mathematical formulas and legal terminologies included in the documentation.Translation and Consistency: Translate legal documents between English and German, maintaining consistency across all templates and documentation.Communication and Coordination: Liaise with both the client's legal automation team and internal teams to address and resolve document-related issues. Attend daily meetings and provide updates.Quality Assurance: Create and manage lists of potential issues or errors in legal documents. Ensure all documents comply with the relevant terms and regulations.Information Management: Gather and analyse information from various client legal programs. Monitor deadlines and handle requests in a timely manner.Support and Guidance: Provide clarification on legal specifications to team members. Offer support in other legal and administrative tasks as required.Candidate Profile:Qualifications: Proficiency in English and German with the ability to use both languages fluently in a professional setting. Experience in finance, structured products, and document automation preferred.Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Must demonstrate integrity and responsibility in all aspects of the role.General TermsType of Employment: Full-time/Permanent Contractor.Working Hours: 9 am-6 pm EST, Monday to Friday. Availability during these hours is a must, despite any local time differences.Training: Six-week paid training period with comprehensive onboarding to learn the systems and services provided.Compensation: Competitive.
