The GOC creates value by providing command, control and communicationfor Healthineers IT Operations. The GOC drives adoption of best practices throughour focus on stability and improving operational transparency across thetechnology organization.Tasks and responsibilitiesThis Major Incident Professional position will be based in AAE. This positionrequires the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions independentlythrough direct interaction with service owners, service desk, and service partnersoperational responsibilities by providing structure and efficiency in the MIprocess.The role is an opportunity to primarily manage major and severe business impactingtechnology incidents, predominantly involving significant infrastructureperformance issues, by coordinating real-time service restoration, activelymanaging risk and ensuring precise and targeted communications are distributed ina timely way. A Major Incident Professional is expected to act as a catalyst toaccelerate an incident response striving to reduce the duration and severity ofbusiness impact. As a member of our GOC team, you are in the unique position tointeract with people and teams globally, across all levels of Healthineers, andinfluence decisions that have a direct impact on operational stability.THIS POSITION IS FOR 1ST/2ND SHIFT COVERAGE HOURS ARE FROM 08:00 TO Confidential:00 IST and a typical day would consist of an 8 hour shift, in addition to arotational holiday/weekend on-call. You would partner with the rest of theOperations Management team to manage technical remediation calls and theassessment of impact to the business, ensuring that all participating teams arefocused on impact remediation and providing timely incident communications torelevant stakeholders. The position requires working under high pressuresituations, organizational and situational awareness, sound judgement and a stronganalytical ability.The role will also involve advising and consulting on processes related toIncident Management, Problem Management and Change Management, as well as thedelivery of the other ITSM services. This role will require deep experience inITIL Service Operations processes and documented experience in highly complexEmpresa importante organizations with significant outsourcing. The daily activities willinclude, but not limited to, managing major incidents, ensuring problem managementactivities are underway and follow up with the necessary stakeholders to reviewroot cause analysis and drive change that will bring additional operationalstability to the Confidential Healthineers.Outside of therole there are opportunities for educational, training andcommunication programs in technology, building relationships across IT, andnumerous opportunities to exemplify the Healthineers Purpose and Values.YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS:Bachelors degree completedAdvanced EnglishHighly motivated team player with a successful track record of workingcollaboratively in a matrix organization.Multiple demands and changing prioritiesCrisis management skillsPrior IT Major Incident Management experience required within the Confidential>sector preferredAbility to rapidly absorb and understand complex technical situations underpressureAbility to facilitate conversations with large groups of remote peopleAbility to translate technical incidents into business termsEnthusiasm to learn new technologies, make new contacts and influence the way IToperatesExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneouslyTroubleshooting skills within a support environment including a strong sense ofcommitment and drive towards incident resolutionUnderstanding and experience of IT technologies-Network, Voice, Data Center,Cloud, End User Computing.
