Job descriptionWe are looking for a passionate Business Analyst. The successful candidate will work intermediating relationships between the business areas and the data solutions development team to build analytical solutions that bring real results and are aligned with the company strategy. Main responsibilitiesIdentifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives.Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)Translating business requirements into application requirements.Training the user in the interpretation of information systems reports, report capabilities, and limitations.Recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.Measure effectiveness of systems and technology usage and design based on end user feedback.Act as a bridge between the area's data demands and the data solutions development team, helping the Product Owner to understand the projects and demands to be executed with complete clarity of the requirements.Understand and document the main data assets (master data, reference data, etc.) related to business processes.Ensure that the area validates, tests and uses the solutions developed by the development team.Build business case / understanding document for each project raised.Assure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.Responsible for the quality, completeness and timeliness of all assigned tasks.Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and skillsMinimum educational requirement:
BS in Computer Science, Business, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field.Hard Skills:
Proven working experience as a business analyst;Experience and good understanding of data and business intelligence concepts;Experience with BI Tools (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.);Good understanding of Business Systems and Databases;Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, technical risks and recommend permanent solutions to issues;Track record of working independently on tasks with remote teams with minimal day to day supervision;Track record of success working in complex, highly fluid environments with competing priorities;Basic knowledge of databases, SQL queries and reports;Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle or SAP);Knowledge about process mapping (BPMN);Knowledge of requirements gathering and requirements documentation;Clear, active communication and good listening skills;Advanced knowledge of office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point);Strong command of English verbal and written communication.
