About the role As part of its strong growth, VirtualiSurg is looking to strengthen its team with Software Security specialists with focus on platform and enterprise security, to aid the development of world class secure services and devices that protect our customers data, thus supporting the creation of realistic virtual environments and simulations. This position will allow you to develop Enterprise security solutions and work in a highly innovative, young and dynamic environment with a strong social impact, where you will identify and discuss security threats and mitigations and drive secure software development practices in the organization. Missions Prioritize, analyze, escalate, and assist in remediating critical information security or other security incidents identified from security tools or through other sources; Support network mapping and vulnerability scanning as required in support of security operations situational awareness, or in support of other teams; Develop and manage software licensing operation, usage monitoring and security; Define and own metrics and key performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of the Security Automation program; Assist with the configuration of application security tools, monitor output and assist developers with remediation of code vulnerabilities; Constantly engage with teams to identify shared problems; Be a driving force in identifying new suppliers and/or scientific/technological partnerships; Contribute to the analysis of the technical feasibility of security solutions; Participate in the testing and evaluation of software as part of the SecOps; Contribute to the company's development and R&D roadmap, as well as to the implementation of industrialization methods. Essential Qualifications Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline Experience with cyber security Experience in backend development Proficient in one or more of the following: Java, C, C++, C#, Python or equivalent Knowledge of database and application security threats and mitigation strategies Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques Fluent/Advanced English Plus Experience developing software licensing services Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries. Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and\or application frameworks.
