We are still small, but growing fast and steadily.We are seeking a talented Game Artist to join our game development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital art and possess exceptional skills in creating visual assets for games. This will be a short-term contract with a high possibility of extension or conversion to a long-term position.The ProjectThe application under development is a Quiz-style mobile game aiming for a hybrid-casual approach. There will be well-designed 2D world-building and collectibles that will enrich the gameplay. It also has stages designed to add exploration elements and randomness to the game. We would love to discuss the game further in our first conversation.Responsibilities Create and develop visual assets, including characters, environments, objects, and user interfaces, that align with the game's artistic vision.Collaborate closely with the development and marketing team to ensure that assets meet the game's technical and design requirements.Maintain stylistic consistency across all visual elements of the game.Iterate and refine assets based on team feedback and gameplay testing.Demonstrate strong communication skills by clearly articulating ideas, providing constructive feedback, and actively participating in team discussions.Meet delivery deadlines and maintain clear communication about work progress.Must-have Requirements Proven experience in creating visual assets for games, preferably in 2D environments.Strong proficiency in graphic design and animation tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, etc.Solid knowledge of design principles, composition, color, and illustration.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively and collaborate with team members.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and accept constructive feedback.Passion for games and understanding of game design fundamentals is a plus.Compensation To be determined upon discussion (payment in BRL) Want better chances for the interview?
