Manage a portfolio of arrear accounts in the Foreclosure Team and where necessary, to institute legal action using approved attorneys on the panel.Alignment to business driver/strategy Ensure that accounts are normalized as soon as possible and if not possible to bring the matter to finality within the shortest space of time with the minimal cost and loss implication. Comply with all legislation governing the organizationKey Responsibilities: Negotiate with clients regarding their arrears.Interact with panel attorneys and provide necessary instructions while managing attorney performance.Identify trigger accounts and maintain constant follow ups to reduce non-performing LoansIdentify High risk and High balance accounts and action within agreed turnaround times. Dealing with a matter, with a view to normalize the account as soon as possible and if not possible to bring the matter to finality within the shortest space of time and with the minimal cost and loss implication.Be proactive and strategic in risk and compliance management by complying with all relevant legislation and continue to position risk and compliance as a critical business management pillar.Ensure all communications, including written and verbal, are of a professional standard at all times. Meticulous file management and updating the system with record to any action or follow up attended to on an account.Being adaptable to change as & when the department needs require it.We do reserve the right to instruct the consultant to attend to any additional tasks or functions which may arise in the future, or which may be incidental and ancillary to those already mentioned.Conducting oneself in an Amazing and professional manner when executing responsibilities and all interactions. To ensure that a high level of care, commitment and communication is always displayed.Education: LLB (Law Degree)/ Paralegal DiplomaPreferred: Admitted AttorneyExperience: 1 to 2 years of experience and knowledge in Foreclosures, Legal recoveries or Civil Litigation.Preferred: 3 to 4 years' experience and knowledge within the above related legal fieldsTechnical Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective time management and prioritization Generic Ability to work under pressure & Target driven Lana Tillack in the HR department
