The role of the F&B Outlets Assistant Manager In conjunction with the Restaurant Manager, the F&B Outlet Manager will, effectively plan, coordinate and manage the operation of the "Casa de Brasa" and "Limon" Operation and any other assigned areas. Responsible for the appropriate training and development of staff in accordance with Four Seasons policies.
Essential Functions Ensure that professional, courteous and efficient guest service is offered at all times, following the standards and sequence of service.Assign responsibilities and periodically evaluate their performance.Be present in the consumption center at all times of high occupancy.Perform flexible work schedules based on operation.Establish and maintain adequate equipment and product par stock.Make product requisitionsPlace purchase ordersHandle any requests in a courteous and efficient manner, following up to ensure the guest is aware of the follow-up.Perform glitches in case of guest complaints or negative comments and ensure full closure of this, to the guest's satisfaction.Ensure that each employee has a professional personal appearance, as well as a professional, warm and sincere posture.Ensure that the department's financial goals are met.Ensure that all services are charged for and charges are made to the correct accounts.Control and turn in at the end of shift any cancelled checks with the respective explanation.Ensure good communication with all areas of the consumption center to ensure professional, error-free service.Documenting any training, disciplinary records and/or absenteeism.Quality check all tables to ensure guest satisfaction.Perform other duties as required, related to the operationEnsure that both the Front of the House and the Back of the House are in optimal condition.Knowledge and Skills Education: College Degree education or equivalent experience in F&B fieldExperience: Experience required in management positions minimum of 2 (two) yearsPrior experience in Food & Beverage department is highly desirableSkills and Abilities: Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipmentPrior experience in Micros SystemAbility to read and speak and write in English and SpanishUnderstand and familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotelReasonable cost analysis and cost management skillsHighest level of integrity and transparencyApply an ethical approach to the outcome of situationsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors' delivery manReasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skillsWork in a safe, prudent and organized mannerBenefits: Compensation: Highly competitive salaries as well as an annual incentive plan for managerial roles at Department Head level Transport: Shuttle service from San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo to the resortUniforms: Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Travel: Complimentary room nights at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts with discounted meals and other services at each locationTraining & Development: In-house training workshops for line and management employeesJob Related: Offering complimentary buffet style duty mealsRecognition: Employee Service Awards as well as Employee of the Month & Employee of the Year AwardsAnd many more property and location specific benefits
