Good understanding and business acumen on the direct and indirect taxes as well as Tax accounting Scope Number of Countries: Brazil Major/Key Accountabilities Tax accounting knowledge (direct and indirect taxes) Strong foundation of accounting skills and concepts Accounting reconciliations for tax GL accounts (SAP/MasterSAF/TAXONE) Knowledge of Tax authorities' reviews/audits and process to answer Annual and Quarter Deferred Tax calculations Proficient in the use of Microsoft office with an emphasis in Excel Team player strong interpersonal, written and communication skills Solid organizational, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Challenges/ Problem Solving Amount on total indirect/direct recoveries (working capital index) On time and quality in the tax balance sheets reconciliations On time and quality in the tax returns (accuracy of payment amounts and penalties) SPED EFDs, Contribuições, ECF e ECD Municipal tax obligations Analyze and support legislative changes that might impact business Key contacts Controllership, Sales, HR, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable External auditors, Tax authorities, Genpact, External Firms.
