Ethicon WCH is the global leader in the science of developing mechanical would closure solutions to the MedTech market leaders in surgical tissue healing.
Key Responsibilities: The Senior level Global TecOps Engineer is responsible for project leadership of key Lifecycle Management and New Product Development projects with focus on direct materials and components manufactured by external partners. Functioning as Project lead or an integral member of a development team applying engineering principles, good manufacturing practices, statistics & judgment to resolve major technical issues, generate creative solutions, identify skill set and team for project plan and execution.
Assignments will typically be of moderate size & complexity, or they may be assigned responsibility for part of a more complex material or component change project.
Partnering with New and Existing Product multi-disciplinary teams and external suppliers is one of key success factor for project development and execution and foremost to improve reliability of supply as well as customer experience.
Writing technical strategy, protocols, and reports to ensuring compliance with franchise procedures as well as regulations.
Evaluating and updating documentation for direct material and components changes while creating or change component drawings, specification, and others.
Supporting supplier process qualification and internal process verification/validation activities.
Other related duties maybe assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications A Bachelor of Science Degree in either Engineering or a Technical/Science focus with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in industry is required.
English Language Proficiency: Advanced is required - for reading, writing and speaking. Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
Minimal 2 years of experience in engineering (material, technologies, and process) and project management including but not limited to project team leadership, scope and budget control is required
Experience in design change plan and execution and process confirmation project is required
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes is required
A proficient understanding of GMPs, ISO standards, and related standards and regulations is required.
Knowledge of sterile barrier packaging systems and design verification including ASTM or ISTA test methods ISO 11607 knowledge and experience is preferred
Understanding of sterilization modes used in medical devices is preferred
FPX, Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Process Excellence is preferred
Experience in development of project plans with Microsoft Project (or similar project planning software), MS Office, Mini Tab/AutoCAD/Solidworks as well as presentation skill is preferred
Experience statistical software packages and analysis (like Minitab) preferred
Demonstrated results in Quality Control, Compliance, and Regulatory is preferred
Experience with component suppliers and qualifications is preferred
External partners and Procurement interaction experience is desirable
Soft Skills E2E mindset and behavior, agent of change, open mind, ownership, is required
