OBJECTIVE The Data Privacy Manager will be responsible for data privacy governance in the LATAM region. In the case of Brazil, s/he will be appointed as DPO according to LGPD. For other LATAM markets, s/he will also act as DPO if required by Law. The Data Privacy Manager should report directly to (CCO) for Regional/LATAM matters and to (Legal Director Brazil) for Brazil matters. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Act as DPO (Data Privacy Officer) for Tupperware Brazil. Main responsibilities: • Provide legal advice and information with regard to compliance with LGPD and other Data Protection Laws. • Monitor risks and recommend remediation/mitigation actions to Management (Lead Data Privacy Committee). • Data privacy governance: data mapping review, data privacy impact assessment (DPIA), vendor privacy assessments (due diligence), data subject requests (DSR), Internal policies review etc. • Interact with the Government Authority (ANPD), company, vendors and data subjects. • Lead data Privacy trainings to employees. 2) Act as DPO for other LATAM Markets • Provide legal advice and information with regard to compliance with Data Protection Laws applicable in Latin American countries, specially Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Ecuador. • Monitor risks and recommend remediation/mitigation actions to Management • Data privacy governance: data mapping creation and/or review, develop data privacy impact assessment (DPIA), privacy agreements (DPA), data subject requests (DSR), Internal policies creation, review or updating, etc. • Interact with the Government Authorities from Latin America, clients, vendors and data subjects as needed. • Create, update and deliver data Privacy trainings to employees, salesforce and third parties. • Review and draft Data Privacy clauses in commercial contracts • Assist in executing global projects related to Data Privacy Facilitate and organize periodical Data Privacy committees for the region Education & Experience/Desired Qualifications: • Law Degree • At least 5 years working with data privacy implementation • Ideally Postgraduate degree in Data Privacy Law • Certifications related to data privacy and Information Security • Data protection solutions, such as One Trust system • Project management • Fluent English (mandatory) and fluent Spanish (desirable) • Analytical thinking, collaboration • Availability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Strong communication, organization and leadership skills
