About the job: As a Data Engineer at Vaas, your primary role will be to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines. Your expertise will transform raw data into relevant insights that can power decision making through dashboards and user-oriented interfaces. You'll be part of data-driven projects to provide valuable insights and extract knowledge using scientific methods, processes, algorithms and new technology. Location: Hybrid work model at Florianópolis. A remote position is NOT available. What you'll work on: Build the infrastructure required for optimal data ETL. Collect raw data from various data sources. Set up automated processes for the best data delivery architecture. Improve our current data pipelines. Wrangle data into a usable state that are ready to be used by the team. Work together with data analysts to help build awesome and scalable analytics. Collaborate with the team in creating robust and scalable dashboards. Who you are: You're excited about Data! You're fluent in the data science tech stack: DBT, Airflow, Python, Bigquery, Dataflow, SQL, and containers to run it all. You have the ability to translate business problems into a data science roadmap and computational tasks. You take pride in your code. It's readable, functional, and reproducible. Familiarity with AI & ML workflows is favorable. Familiarity with Metabase is a plus, or similar data visualization tools.
