Optibus is looking for a talented Controller to join our Finance department. As part of your responsibilities, you will report directly to the Regional Financial Controller (based in Israel) and you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Brazilian and US GAAP, statutory financials, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts receivable operations, and more.
Responsibilities: ? Responsible for the complete and accurate reporting of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end numbers following Brazilian GAAP and US GAAP.
? Responsible for full local tax and other relevant government compliance in conjunction with external professional accounting firms.
? Responsible for local statutory financials and tax returns.
? Balance sheet accounts reconciliation and working papers.
? AR operations - billing and invoicing/collection management.
? The undertaking of ad-hoc financial tasks.
Requirements:
? Please apply your CV in English only! ? Proficiency in English - a must. ? At least 3 years of experience as a Controller.
? Bachelor's degree in accounting.
? High work ethic, independent capability, fast data learning, and attention to detail.
? Strong Microsoft Excel skills – a must
? Experience and understanding of tax - an advantage.
? Experience with NetSuite - an advantage.
