Posted 14 November 2023Salary Competitive Salary (DOE)LocationVictoriaJob type PermanentDiscipline Renewable Energy & Infrastructure, Energy Supply & TradingReferenceIJLI-3NOV23Contact NameIeuan JonesGreen Recruitment Company are partnering with a well-known Global Power & Utilities firm who are looking to hire a Commercial Director, based in Melbourne or Sydney.This person will lead their commercial function across all streams of work in the assessment and analysis of greenfield and brownfield investment opportunities, developing their footprint across energy infrastructure projects supporting the Energy Transition.**Your role**:- Leading the commercial function for the assessment and analysis of brownfield and greenfield investment opportunities- Use knowledge of energy markets to help shape market/investment/commercialisation strategies- Lead the negotiation of commercial agreements and related documentation to support a range of investment opportunities at different stages of the project lifecycle- Support, lead and be a key member of project teams as required- Proactively maintain relationships with the market and relevant stakeholders**Your profile**:- Ideally 10+ years' of demonstrated experience providing commercial leadership in respect of energy infrastructure projects- A good track record of involvement in major projects and/or corporate transactions, including experience in managing a range of diverse, multi-disciplinary deliverables- Strong commercial, conceptual and analytical skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a company with big ambitions and capital to deploy.
