The selected candidate will serve as both a strategic architect and an operational driver, leading efforts to build a position as a leading player in the competitive Brazilian market, paving the way for sustained growth. As COO, you will assume responsibility for the management and day-to-day operations and infrastructure of the region. You will be entrusted with the autonomy and authority necessary to drive growth, innovation, and deliver best practice, ensuring the businesses success in the dynamic Brazilian market. Role Responsibilities Operational: day-to-day running of the operational business whilst focusing on growth potential and driving commercial change and enhancement. and lead operational processes and projects across CS, VIP, Fraud & Risk, Finance, Payments and Compliance teams. in leveraging technology and future administration / implementation of software and systems. the rollout of new products and services are coordinated both internally and externally. all risk and AML controls, policies, and procedures are supported. adequate disaster recovery, security and business continuity plans and procedures are in place across the business, and regularly assessed (from an operational perspective). closely with suppliers so that requirements and SLAs are understood and adhered to. Ensure suppliers are held to account and identify potential opportunities for service improvement. an operational support matrix that gives clarity to the operational requirements that need to be in place for the business to scale with intended new products and services. compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a strong focus on responsible gaming practices. Change: the business's expansion strategy, including contributing to assessments of potential new lines of business and building operational launch plans. effective evolution and enhancement processes, ensuring changes are evaluated, authorised, prioritised, implemented, documented and reviewed in a controlled manner. develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, deliver insightful and actionable analytics and reporting, mitigate risks and minimize costs Candidate Requirements in Sao Paulo or willingness to relocate to Sao Paulo. Visa Sponsorship is possible. in English and Portuguese. in the Sports Betting/iGaming industry is a must have non-negotiable. degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. leadership experience with the ability to resolve problems and drive issues / opportunities to rapid resolution by ensuring cross team alignment and communication. in developing and implementing operations strategies, processes and structures.
