Job Summary As a Tech Lead C/C++ Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing new SDKs for existing codecs and C/C++ video processing solutions, as well as optimizing the performance of current solutions. Your responsibilities will span across multiple platforms (Windows, OSX, Linux, Web) and applications, ensuring that the latest versions of codecs are both accessible and performing at their best.
Responsibilities and Duties Guiding the technical direction and standards of a team of engineers; Coding and ensuring the quality of team members' deliverables; Shaping standards and best practices; Designing technical solutions; Supporting engineering process improvements and establishing best practices; Providing expert guidance to project teams across the organization; Cultivating a culture of technical excellence. Essential Skills Experienced in Modern C++ Development; Understanding and hands-on experience with video formats and modern codec designs; Proficiency in using Microsoft Visual Studio for C++ or Apple Xcode; Experience in Multithreading and Multiprocessor. Highly Desirable Skills Experience with at least one of the technologies: Adobe or Apple video-centric plug-in architectures, WebCodecs, WebGL, WASM; Experience in exploiting performance optimizations across all major modern platforms, including deep C/C++; DNxHD codec ("Digital Nonlinear Extensible High Definition").
