We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing the backend processes and data repository layer for a network management application within a scalable and flexible multiservice satellite communications platform. As part of our dedicated team of experienced and talented professionals, you will take ownership of various components within the overall architecture and actively participate in the development process.

Responsibilities: Design and implement backend processes and the data repository layer for a satellite network management application. Collaborate with a team of experts to contribute to the development of a scalable and flexible communications platform. Own several components within the overall system architecture, ensuring their successful integration and functionality. Participate in code review sessions to maintain high-quality standards across the codebase. Ensure proper test coverage at the unit level and higher, contributing to the robustness of the application. Provide support for a live customer base by analyzing and resolving issues across the technology stack. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for deployment processes and new features. Requirements Proficiency in C++ development within a Unix/Linux environment. Experience with Python 3.x programming. Familiarity with virtualization solutions and/or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8S). Ability to analyze complex distributed software architectures. A strong desire to learn and a passion for software development. Excellent team player with the ability to work as part of an international team. Good communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Desirable Skills: Experience with development for RHEL systems or with Linux OS architecture. C++ unit testing experience, preferably with Google Test and Google Mock frameworks. Knowledge of SQL, with Postgresql experience being highly appreciated. Experience with Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, and working with time-series databases such as TimescaleDB. Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies for streamlined software development and deployment.
