About the jobA problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.
Google Search fundamentally changed the value of the internet by unlocking information for people and opportunities for the vibrant ecosystems that support them. In order to continue making information universally accessible and useful, we must innovate and transform Search to meet the evolving needs of our users and to address fundamental cultural and technological changes at large.
The Search Quality Technical Program Manager team plays a critical role by driving programs that bring industry leading quality and ranking to surface new types of modern content. In this role, you will drive programs that bring together User Experience, Core Ranking, and cutting edge Machine Learning technology to bring relevant and relatable content to search.
In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a federated team of Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to drive launches and changes that impact users across the web and mobile.
Learn Search ranking infrastructure to identify new applications of signals and models to deliver high quality results to users.
Be a multiplier for teams developing signals, training models, and scaling quality services and innovations to teams across Search.
Exercise technical acumen to mitigate risks/blockers, run effective meetings, and resolve conflicts between stakeholders to accelerate program timelines.
Identify key milestones, dependencies, and build multi-quarter roadmaps for initiatives which range from infrastructure improvements to the user facing features built with them, while building processes to efficiently track and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. We are committed to building a workforce that is representative of the users we serve, creating a culture of belonging, and providing an equal employment opportunity regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding), expecting or parents-to-be, criminal histories consistent with legal requirements, or any other basis protected by law.
