Committed.****#OGJS****ROLE PURPOSE**- The Supply Chain Manager leads and manages of a team of experts within the EPC supply chain department based in Rio. In addition, SCM will liaise with the FPSO Product SCM and other SCMs for resources needed in different centers.**ROLE CONTRIBUTION**- The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is the ambassador of Supply Chain within a designated area/ location. Fully aligned with the Group SC Strategy and initiatives, the SCM translates them into operational plans and supervise their execution.- The SCM is responsible for developing and maintaining synergies through the management of Operations Support & Procurement activities to ensure the teams are working in an integrated and efficient manner, ensuring constant interfaces with other Department Managers (ie: Engineering ), Project Managers and with the SC Managers from the other locations in order align ways of working and increase efficiency.- The SCM manages the department budget and oversee resource allocation, manpower planning, determine the need for subcontracting activities; monitoring team performance, ensuring adequate training and talent development and the ownership of the overall quality and performance of the work delivered by the department.- The SCM also monitors the project manning plan and ensures that RCP is reflecting project agreement and monthly sales.**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field of Engineering or Business Administration;- Relevant experience with an Oil and Gas or EPC company;- Have broad and deep procurement experience in the offshore, marine or petrochemical industry;- Relevant experience as a Team Leader;- Advanced English.**Furthermore you are or you have**:- A self- starter who possesses good interpersonal and organizational skills- Great time management skills- Leadership skills and proactive behavior- Flexible and adaptable to react to operational changes- Fluent in English (both written and verbally)- A people leader with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, empowering others and shares visibility, with experience in managing a large team comprising of different supply chain areas**GENERAL INFORMATION**- SBM Offshore is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
