Supply Chain Food Safety Manager

Position Summary:This role manages the Supply Chain business in Brazil, making strategic decisions, financial analysis, technical support and operational definitions Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead business sector and assure that all corporate and program scheme and accreditation requirements are met. Ensure compliance to customer service, and quality turnaround times are met. Identify market opportunities in the Subregion (Brazil), to support the growth of the business. Work closely with Audit Delivery to agree on resource needs to meet business objectives. Secure technical expertise and communicate the criteria for certification decisions. Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for business growth, in line with program and divisional objectives, including innovation of new service offerings and crossover programs Work closely with Marketing and Sales on development and implementation of strategies to grow the business unit. Responsible for business unit budget setting and achieving revenue and margin goals. Identify and support key customers. Grow service offerings with new and existing customers. Accountable for integrating and implementing new programs and offerings and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational, technical, and customer considerations are fully addressed, and client needs are made operational in support of strategic and financial objectives. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering or related field. Experience as quality or food safety manager in the food industry, manager of certification/auditing processes or food safety auditor for GFSI schemes. Manager and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member and leader. Competent computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. Advanced English and Spanish.
