In this role you will be directly supporting the Gas Services Regional Service Latin America business by qualifying, monitoring, and developing suppliers in the region.How You'll Make an ImpactSupplier Qualification: Support a multi-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management system & processes, etc.Product and Process Qualification: Lead multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts according to applicable process descriptions and standards. Leading includes the planning, tracking, and reporting of project achievements as well as budget and resource needs. Support the supplier quality assurance measures along the complete PPQ. Approve the supplier process via the submitted Manufacturing Quality Control Plan.Perform source inspection of suppliers for commodity products in Latin Americas region, mainly in Brazil. Inspection types include dimensional, weld, coating, etc.Identify and initiate containment on any identified non-conformances. Follow-up with corrective action as vital.Supplier Development: Support supplier evaluation based on regular analysis of supplier quality. Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and definition of appropriate risk mitigation measures at the supplier.Lead various Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and visibility.What you BringBachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar field. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.At least 8 - 10 years preferred professional experience in supplier quality management or quality management.You are proficient speaking and writing in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.You have technical experience with manufacturing processes (machining, welding, cutting, coating, etc.).You have experience performing supplier qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and efficient supply base for responsible suppliers.You have extensive experience leading ISO 9001 audits of suppliersYou have extensive experience with machined parts.You have extensive expertise in GD&T, welding, and NDE.You are familiar with National and International Codes and Standards (ASME, ISO, AWS, etc.).Basic electrical experience including reading schematics for motors, pumps, etc. is a plus.You are comfortable and proficient working with a variety of databases, reporting and other digital tools.Experience in working with virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment.You are a self-starter, driven and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
