Senior Frontend Developer

Macher Tecnologia is recruiting one Senior Front-end developers to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry.As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have. The selected professional will join us at our Rio de Janeiro office, on a remote setting, at Caxias do Sul or at Porto Alegre. Only candidates from these locations will be considered.As a Senior frontend Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to our client's user-facing Mobile Videoapplications for Transit and ensuring seamless and delighlul experiences for our users. Yourexpertise in front-end technologies will drive innovaJon and elevate the product interfaces.Responsibilities: Architect, design, and develop responsive and performant web applications. Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to implement user interfaces. Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Mentor junior front-end engineers and contribute to their growth. Stay up to date with the latest front-end trends and best practices.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent. Experience: 3+ years of professional front-end development experience. JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3. Frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.Js. Responsive design and mobile-first development. RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. UI/UX design principles. State management libraries (e.G., Redux, MobX). Unit testing and test-driven development. Frontend performance profiling and optimization. Strong problem-solving and communicaJon skills.Preferred Qualifications: Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and service workers. Internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y) best practices.
