Job Description Position: Project Manager Giant Propeller is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Operations team. This pivotal role requires a proven ability to balance resources, time, and priorities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing project plans and their execution. As one of our Project Managers, you must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You must be able to finesse the needs of multiple clients and their priorities against available resources and budgets. You know when to push and when to let things simmer. The Project manager's job duties include having an assertive but non-aggressive leadership style. You play a large part in determining the agency's use of time and resources in conjunction with our Account Managers. This position reports to our Marketing Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Assign and monitor resources to ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Develop an understanding of project priority and make judgment calls based on knowledge Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project budget using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk identification and management to minimize project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Work with the Accounts team to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project Work directly with clients to define needs, ensure expectations are set according to project plans, and that changes are communicated promptly Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members Use and continually develop leadership skills Perform other related duties as assigned Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs Requirements: 10+ years of proven working experience in project management 5+ years of experience working for a marketing or creative agency Experience in traditional, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies PMP certification (desirable) Experience with Asana Excellent internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, Dropbox, and Slack Project Manager top skills & proficiencies: Developing and Tracking Budgets Planning Resource Management Staffing Verbal Communication Project Management Management Process Improvement Performance Management
