What you'll do: As a Product Development Engineer JR – Water Care, you will work with development, implementation and optimization of components, subgroups, module and module areas within new product development projects. If you have great analytical and organizational skills, are always up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and can easily and efficiently adapt to changes in your environment, this is your chance! In detail, you will:
- Design 3D and 2D solutions for new products and also make modifications in current models using Catia SW.
- Carry out deliveries within the deadlines/costs of the area.
- Ensure that new products/projects fit in all R&D KPIs, cost, time and quality.
- Follow all phases of projects since project definition to the approval of series production.
- Develop new solutions having in mind needs and desires of our consumers.
- Organize meetings with different areas to solve problems.
- Use development/quality tools like FMEA´s and project planning tools.
- Keep a clear communication, engagement, collaboration, and alignment within different areas of the company.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are: You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Production or Materials) or equivalent;
- Knowledge of product development processes using CATIA;
- Experience in domestic appliances development will be a plus
- Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
Where you'll be: You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3000 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work. It will be necessary to have availability for travel.
