The work we do here matters.**Department Overview**: Be part of the Vigilant System Solutions team, as a Cross-Platform Mobile Mid-Level Developer. Designing and developing Android and iOS apps, you will be a key member of our software organization. Our products allow customers to respond effectively in mission-critical operating environments and we're looking for world-class engineers interested in building software and systems that truly make a difference.This job position is for entirely reshaping and creating a modernized version of the Vigilant Mobile Companion LPR App.It's an excellent opportunity to join a small team with a critical skill set. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of the product.**- Work closely with product management to plan and design new products and features.- Release high quality software to our customers for their mission-critical public safety and security systems through working on a cross-disciplinary team with UXs, QAs and POs.- Write unit tests, automated UI tests and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product.- Integrate and develop backend services to deliver a secure, fast and scalable mobile user experience.- Follow standard coding practices.- Identify, propose and implement best-fit solutions for complex scenarios.- Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and peers on your team via process improvements, clean designs, smart testing and review practices.- Collaborate with other team members in an agile environment.- Research new technologies and contribute with innovation initiatives, for example using embedded AI in mobile devices.- Collaborate with other mobile teams.***Basic Requirements**:- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.- Advanced English level.
