M&A Senior Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel plays a key role in providing expert legal advice on all legal aspects related to the development, operation and financing of energy projects. This professional works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and legal risk mitigation in the renewable energy sector.Main responsibilities- Assess the legal and regulatory feasibility of M&A opportunities in the renewable energy sector.- Perform comprehensive due diligence analysis to identify potential legal risks and opportunities.- Interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations, including those related to renewable energy, environment, tax and property.- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including finance, technical and compliance teams, to ensure successful transactions.- Coordinate the preparation and filing of applications and documents with relevant regulatory authorities.- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with M&A transactions.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in law.- Minimum of 3 years of relevant M&A experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.- Fluency in English.
