About the team: You report organizationally to the Procurement Manager for Americas and functionally to the Shared Service Manager (based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) and will work with colleagues in North, Central and South America. About the role: In this new role you will be assisting the procurement team in logistics services (i.e. seafreight, train, trucking, maintenance & repair, cleaning) for all our business across the Americas. You will assist in securing existing and future needed capacity against the lowest integral supply chain costs, and working pro-actively towards sustainable results with the suppliers embedding high safety, quality and operational performance. Your main areas of responsibilities are: Procurement Database Maintenance Build and maintain long-term win-win relationships with (inter)national suppliers Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes against the lowest integral supply chain costs. Assist in contracts, SLA's and other relevant documents. Administrative support to procurement processes and registration of contract data in the Transport Management System (Transfusion). About you: Opportunity to gain knowledge of international logistics supply base (trucking, shipping and rail) including best practices and contractual/legal arrangements. Experience in participating in projects. Proactive and a strong drive to constantly improve and achieve results. High level of learning agility, personal development and flexibility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
