Job Purpose Drive the continuous approach and commitment toward the goal of MSS being a safe place to work. Promote, drive, and develop the safety mindset and culture across the organization. To manage, direct, and resource solutions/project HSE requirements and vessels to ensure MSS and client HSE expectations including legislative aspects are upheld.
Key Responsibilities Promoting and driving MSS safety mindset, and continuous HSE performance improvement.Acting as a trusted advisor and courageous advocate towards the Head of HSSEQ, Integrated Solutions Management, and other major stakeholders on all safety-related matters;Ensure proper HSSEQ support towards operations and projects.Ensure that safety-related industry best practices and lessons learned are shared in the fleet;Respond to and process all Incident Reports (Personal Injury, Damage to Environment, Damage to Property, and Near Miss) promptly within Unisea;Investigate all incidents sustained in the respective area of operation as per the 'IncidentReporting and Investigation Matrix;Ensure that all level 3 and above incidents and near-misses have root causes established, action plan agreed and actions distributed to the vessel and/or internal departments as required;Feeding information on any progress, concerns or potential challenges/opportunities in the safety field back to the Head of HSSEQ and Integrated Solutions Management;Take an active part in the Maersk Supply Service HSSEQ strategy process;Stakeholder management in MSS on- and offshore, externally with customers, industry forum and legislative bodies;Ensure information and knowledge sharing from client meetings and industry forums are shared within the organization and the fleet;Support and drive safety activities and ensure follow-up on the proper implementation;Ensure the Global INS HSE team is manned with qualified personnel (HSE Manager and Offshore HSE Advisors);Encourage input for the continuous development of the management system offshore and onshore.Daily follow-up with direct reports;Continuous alignment and follow-up between HSSEQ team – vessel operations and projects;Assist with preparation for and during external audits by customers and authoritiesAttending customer's HSSEQ meetings and ensuring that any instructions and/orrecommendations arising will be shared.Attend industry forums and summits to discuss the Company's safety performance and learn new safety initiativesAssist the commercial & INS department in HSSEQ matters such as tender responses and bridging documents for contractsEnsure that timely input to tenders is provided by the HSE Manager INS;Promote by example good HSE practices amongst projects.Ensure company core values as well as Maersk Supply Service A/S policies are consistently applied to daily operations and professional interaction with third partiesEnsure understanding and acceptance of plus visible commitment to HSE policy standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
