Stellantis's Software Organization (SWX) was created to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology.The main job responsibilities will be:Actively steer the development, launch and production of F-ZCU/BMS, overseeing all steps of the process and working closely with product/design/contract manufacturers.Contribute to specification and design of F-ZCU/BMS boards for automotive systems.Work with internal customers to understand and specify application requirements and deliverables, including component specifications, Hardware-Software interface specifications and functional safety.Supports in investigating scalable architecture alternatives and development paths for F-ZCU/BMS Hardware platforms.Support to establish scalability, cost, size, weight, power, performance, safety, and schedule requirements for next generation hardware platforms.Support the HW implementation of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements of F-ZCU/BMS.Leads to create Quality Benchmarks and Standards; provides technical perspective and expertise in terms of quality standards for internal technical teams, critical suppliers, and partners.Basic Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering, electronics engineering or similar.Experience on Circuit simulations, Circuit Worst Case Analysis.Hands-On and Industry Relevant Experience in electronic hardware development in Automotive.Strong knowledge on Analog and digital design (Power management ICs, HSD, LSD, Smart drivers) Experience with Supporting HW component validation (Electrical, EMC, ESD, Environmental)EE design experience. The HW Development engineer is expected to be able to analyze schematics, analyze datasheets/user manuals, comprehend processor architecture, memory options and Automotive ICs, comprehend electrical I/O, comprehend automotive networks (CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet), analyze log files/traces.Experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, signal generators.Familiar with Automotive industry standards for electronics, design factors of safety, and product verification is desired.Strong teamwork and excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently.Preferred Qualifications Advance degree in Electronics engineering.Experience with HW Development for Automotive products on Tier1 or tier 2.Experience on D-FMEA.Experience designing electronics that operates from -40°C to 105°C ambient temperature.Knowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO 26262Solid understanding of system/component designSolid understanding of ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS communication protocols and troubleshooting tools.Critical Character Traits to Ensure SuccessAbility to think outside-the-box in high pressure situationsAbility to multi-taskDetail oriented problem-solverSelf-confident/empowered to deliver on a daily basisSelf-starter with the ability to work independently given minimal supervision/directionAbility to identify potential developmental roadblocks and escalate to managementAbility to work in a team environment and be both a team player and task leaderThis includes requesting assistance from and likewise providing assistance to team members regardless if the topic is related to your assigned work setRespect and understanding of the Customer/Supplier relationship while embracing partnershipAbility to present concepts/strategies/project status to large groups
