Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the General Manager for Brazil. The General Manager will be responsible for managing our representation in Varginha, Brazil, overseeing the operations of our office and leading the Quality, Logistics, and Administration teams. The ideal candidate will possess extended coffee supply chain knowledge, exceptional organizational and administrative skills, and have a strong background in quality control. This role will report to the Managing Director, VP Coffee Sourcing, Keurig Trading, with the headquarters located in Switzerland, as well as managing relationships with local coffee suppliers, exploring new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of quality throughout the supply chain. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of our office in Varginha, Brazil, including overseeing the Quality, Logistics, and Administration teams. Oversees operations for our office in Colombia which include overseeing the Quality and Logistics teams. Report directly to the headquarters located in Switzerland, providing regular updates on operations, performance, and market intelligence. Escalate supplier supply chain (including Quality and Logistics) issues and other risk management issues to Keurig Trading. Build and maintain strong relationships with local coffee suppliers to ensure timely communication between suppliers and KDP, including price changes, suppliers issues etc. Support HQ in Switzerland by providing any necessary inputs to Keurig Trading to support Keurig Trading's negotiations with suppliers. Oversee visit and audit supplier milling and warehousing facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and quality control KPI's defined by Keurig Trading in Switzerland, identify and recommend opportunities for improvement for Keurig Trading's decision, and supplier calibrationto ensure compliance with quality standards defined by Keurig Trading in Switzerland and identify opportunities for improvement. Responsible for timely shipping in alignment with Keurig Trading logistics department. Implement and supervise projects in Brazil, including supporting the responsible sourcing team. Ensure alignment with company goals, visions, including our Drink Well Do Good Sustainability strategy. Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and shipping lines to facilitate smooth and timely export operations. Organize, host and lead employee source trips, including other origin visits for internal stakeholders, employees, customers, and partners. Provide support to the Keurig Trading procurement team in Switzerland by reporting on crop forecasts, supply and demand, and political and economic developments. Stay up to date with coffee market trends, intelligence, and reporting. Manage usual office and people management responsibilities, including leading and developing a team of employees. Skills and Qualifications: Extensive coffee knowledge, with a strong understanding of the international coffee market, particularly in Brazil. Proven minimum experience of 5 years in the Brazilian coffee supply chain. Coffee quality and sensory expert, with Q and R Grader certifications being a plus. Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and priorities. Customer-focused mindset. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to travel internationally for up to 10 days under rustic conditions with some flexibility in scheduling is desired. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
